Introduction to Dark Magic Protection, Awareness and Empowerment

Today, I want to talk about something that has been coming up often in my client sessions: dark magic. When we hear those words, fear can quickly arise. But knowledge is power and understanding dark magic from a grounded and spiritual perspective is key to protecting ourselves. Dark magic is the intentional misuse of spiritual power to control, bind, or instill fear. It can show up as spells, psychic attacks, or even spiritual contracts that feel disempowering. Unlike light work, which honors love, free will, and healing, dark magic seeks to override the natural flow of energy and spiritual law.

As light workers and sensitive souls, it is important to cultivate discernment. Not everything that looks mystical is rooted in love. The intention behind a practice matters more than the practice itself. Voodoo, witchcraft, ancestral healing, or candle rituals are not inherently dark. It is when they are used to manipulate or control that they become harmful. Empowering yourself with this awareness allows you to move forward without fear, and instead with clarity and strength.
